Co-Founder, NeuNet LLC

One sentence to describe your company

NeuNet is a SaaS company focused on creating technologies that leverages the use of AI to enhance daily life experiences.

Can you share your journey into the SaaS industry and what motivated you to start your own boostrapped SaaS company?

My journey into the SaaS industry began with a desire to create something meaningful—something that I truly cared about.

This led to the foundation of NeuNet, a company bootstrapped by my co-founder and me. The driving force behind starting my own SaaS venture was the profound motivation to work for myself, to immerse myself in projects that resonate with my personal beliefs and passions. There's an unparalleled satisfaction that comes from dedicating your efforts to something that not only interests you but also has the potential to make a significant impact.

Developing Cheerful has been an incredibly rewarding experience. It's one thing to work on a project you love, but it's another to see that work validated by the people who use it. The feedback from our customers has been overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing how Cheerful has revolutionized their gifting journey, alleviating the stress that often accompanies holiday seasons. This validation serves as a continuous reminder of why we embarked on this journey—to create solutions that make a real difference in people's lives.

What has been the biggest challenge you have faced thus far and how did you solved it?

The journey through the SaaS world has been filled with hurdles, each presenting its own set of challenges.

For me, the paramount issue has been managing my time effectively. With a full-time job already on my plate, the endeavor to balance work and personal life, alongside my commitment to NeuNet, often feels like I'm trying to juggle two full-time jobs within the span of one life. This constant balancing act raises the question: how do I manage two careers and still have time for myself and my loved ones? I can't claim to have found a perfect solution yet, but my co-founder and I have taken steps towards creating a more manageable schedule. We've agreed that weekends are for personal time and family. While we're not opposed to working during the weekend, we've made a conscious effort to plan our timelines in such a way that weekend work is minimized as much as possible. This decision has been a crucial step in ensuring that we don't burn out and can maintain our productivity and enthusiasm for the long haul.

Additionally, having launched our first app, Cheerful, just two and a half months ago in November 2023, has brought its own set of challenges. The realization that we're still in the early stages of our venture, coupled with our natural impatience, sometimes makes it tough to keep things in perspective. But acknowledging that we're at the beginning of a longer journey and that success takes time helps keep us grounded. We're navigating these challenges as they come, driven by our passion and the support we offer each other.

One fun thing to share?
