A PRACTICAL SAAS CONFERENCE FOR INDEPENDENT FOUNDERS
MicroConf Europe is a two-day conference focused on self-funded and indie-funded startups, with an emphasis on SaaS.
MicroConf Europe is built for founders growing sustainable SaaS businesses. We focus on practical growth, profitability, and long-term ownership — not chasing funding rounds or vanity metrics. The goal is to help you build a business that supports the life you actually want to live.
This is not a massive, anonymous tech conference. With a small, curated group of founders, you’ll have deep conversations, make meaningful connections, and spend time with speakers who are actively building and scaling SaaS companies themselves; not just talking about it.
And the learning doesn’t stop when the talks end. Some of the best insights at MicroConf happen between sessions, over coffee, or at dinner with other founders who are dealing with the same challenges you are. These informal conversations — the “hallway track” — are where tactics get shared, partnerships start, and long-term founder friendships are made.
Bringing you the SaaS tactics, frameworks, and stories that help you level up your business to 7-, and 8-figure ARR.

Excursions
One afternoon is dedicated to getting out together for a curated group activity — equal parts fun and founder-to-founder connection. It’s a break from talks and a chance to build relationships in a way that feels natural, not forced.
Sky Lagoon
A thermal spa inspired by nature & culture. Immerse yourselves in warmth at the oceanside geothermal lagoon with the North Atlantic Ocean stretching out before them.
Taste Iceland
Sample Brennivíns from different distillers around Iceland. We’ll talk about what makes this wonderful spirit their national drink and as we taste we also touch, smell, and taste the spices and herbs that go into the production.
Hiking + Natural Hot Spring
Take a hike to one of the most popular hot springs in Iceland. Enjoy nature as you cross rivers, then take a hike on a gravel trail up the Rjúpnabrekkur Ptarmigan slopes leading to Reykjadalur hot steam valley. As a reward, enjoy a dip into the warm waters and relax.
Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre
New this year, we will be working with several hotels near the Harpa Centre so you can choose the one that works best for you.
More details about hotels will be shared late Jan.

Why Reykjavik?
Keflavík International Airport (KEF) is a major hub between North America and Europe, with lots of direct flights from major U.S. and European cities — making it surprisingly easy to get to from almost anywhere.
Reykjavík is compact, walkable, and packed with great cafés, bakeries, bars, and restaurants, so it’s easy to keep MicroConf conversations going long after the sessions end. And if you want something memorable: World-class geothermal pools and hot springs are never far away.

“There’s no conference like MicroConf”
Just back from #microconf Europe in Lisbon.

This was my fourth one; I've been to two in the US and two in Europe.
If you're building a SaaS, no matter what stage you are in, do yourself a huge favor and figure out how to go to either the US or Europe event.
It's the most… pic.twitter.com/cyE5aaN6O5
“Just got done with MicroConf Europe, in Croatia. All in all, an excellent and well run event. I appreciated the openness of the attendees and all of the speaking events were applicable, interesting and varied.”
“A great bunch of friendly approachable founders, all willing to listen and share advice. Would recommend to anyone on the verge of attending.”
Coming to #MicroConf this week. It's my home away from home; a few hundred geeks building software/etc businesses with a focus on sustainability, value creation, and community.

Expect a lot of tweets come Monday.
“This was my first ever conference so I was hesitant, but my time at MicroConf Europe was incredible and I’ll very likely be back. It was awesome to meet fellow founders and learn all the various goals, struggles, and successes people had.”
The first day of #MicroConfEU23 was terrific, and I'm more than ready for day 2! pic.twitter.com/nTRberKvd5

A conference unlike any other. ✨I met the most interesting group of founders, went speedboating along Lisbon as a hallway track, and left feeling oh so energized.🚤 See you all next year @MicroConf #microconfeu23 pic.twitter.com/hkg712VKc8

Driving around old Malta in little golf carts on @MicroConf’s hallway track. Now that’s a nice breath of fresh air to meet and chat with fellow attendees! #mceu22 #microconf pic.twitter.com/SQEV64jwBu
