One sentence to describe your company

Pixels for Humans is a UX-focused Business Consultancy that helps tech and SaaS comapnies grow into mature businesses that invest in their community and center people over profits

Can you share your journey into the SaaS industry and what motivated you to start your own boostrapped SaaS company?

I started Pixels by chance - I had someone who wanted to work with me and wouldn't take no for an answer, so I formed a company without giving it much deeper thought. I soon realized what a wonderful opportunity I had created for myself. I've been able to create a business that works with my life and partner with SaaS & tech founders to build meaningful products that actually have an impact on the world. My biggest learning - talk to people. even if you know. Even if you're sure you've got it right. Even if you're also a user of your product. The more you connect the better your product, your business and YOU will be. And the better equipped you'll be to change the world. :)

What has been the biggest challenge you have faced thus far and how did you solved it?

Honestly, 2023 was a hugely rough year for me, and almost every business founder I know, regardless of industry. So much of the landscape has changed, and what has worked before doesn't. I spent 2023 diving into how my business runs to find the areas I'd been lax, and the systems and processes that I was clinging to that actually hadn't been working for a while. I tested ideas. I made changes. And I talked to people. I connected. Now I know so much more about how to move forward, without the baggage and cruft of outdated "best" practices.
