Summer's over, and we can't wait to show you what we've been up to! Meet the revamped MicroConf Connect—a global community where startup misfits unite to build, launch, and grow.
In March 2023, we paused new invites to MicroConf Connect. This allowed us to dive in, assess what's working, and revamp features. Whether you're a startup newbie or a seasoned entrepreneur, these changes aim to inspire and support the long game of running a business.
Without further ado, we introduce our new MicroConf Connect Membership tiers, aimed at helping founders from across the spectrum get the resources that they need when they need them.
Option 1: Connect for Free
Who doesn't love free? Since day one, MicroConf Connect has been a go-to hub for global bootstrappers to chat, tackle challenges, and navigate the startup maze together.
Scrapping our free membership? Not a chance.
We've tweaked the free tier to grant access to some of our most popular (and bustling) channels while keeping our premium channels a little more subdued, focused, and exclusive. The list of free access channels includes:

What's the Catch?
We're limiting free invites to keep the community high-quality. Each month, we'll send out 300 invites max. If we approve 220 paid members, that leaves just 80 free invites for the month.
Here's the deal:
Once approved, you'll join a queue based on your application date.
Each month, we’ll tally up the total number of approved applications, subtract total number of paid members from 300, and send the remaining invites to free members.
We honestly have no idea how long you’ll be on the waitlist, but our best guess is up to 3 months. We’ll know more as memberships come in.
Want to skip the wait? Go for our Basic or Gold Membership.
Option 2: Connect Basic
($45/Quarter | $150/Year)
Our team highly debated this: do we stick with just one high-priced tier or include an introductory price point? Sanity won—we went with both.
Connect Basic Membership starts to unlock some of the hidden gems within MicroConf Connect, with access to nearly 50 channels, with topics spanning, AI and marketing to parenting and podcasts.
A Connect Basic Membership will also introduce you to regional-based channels where you can start to connect with local founders and a set of premium-only, revenue-defined groups will be able to connect with their peers.
We’ll also be running Monthly Mentor Sessions & AMAs hosted by leading B2B SaaS + entrepreneurship experts.
Finally, Connect Basic includes access to our limited Member Directory, helping you navigate the community for potential partnerships and collaboration opportunities.
Applications for Connect Basic are reviewed, approved, and invited at the end of each month. So long as you’re a good fit, you’re guaranteed a spot within four weeks of your application. But if you cannot wait to join, or you are ready to accelerate your SaaS skills seriously, Connect Gold is the membership for you.
Option 3: The Gold Standard… Connect Gold
($150/Quarter | $500/Year)
Ahh yes, this is where the magic begins to happen. You see, Connect Gold is the key that unlocks not just the best of MicroConf Connect today, but the best of MicroConf Connect tomorrow.
In addition to all the premium channels available in our Free and Basic tiers, you'll have access to an exclusive space just for Gold Members and some industry experts we think might be able to give you some solid advice on the regular. Think of it as your VIP lounge within the community.
Planning a trip to another city? You have access to our self service workflow that lets you move between regional channels and share upcoming travel plans, so setting up in-person hangouts becomes a breeze. With Gold, you're not just connected; you're plugged into a global network, ready to mingle both online and off.
Plus, unlock you’ll unlock the full functionality of our Membership Directory. You’ll be able to search for other community members who align with your goals and strengths, DM right from the directory, get suggested connections of founders you’ll want to meet, and discover a few more surprises that'll help you connect with the community's best and brightest.
It also includes access to our fully revamped content library. It's not just an archive; it's a treasure trove.
